This Privacy Policy describes how Autoteca ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

By using Autoteca, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Automatically Collected Information

When you use our App, we may automatically collect:

• Device information (device type, operating system version)
• App usage statistics and performance data
• Crash reports and error logs
• Anonymous analytics data to improve user experience
• Camera access, only when you choose to take a photo of a vehicle or a document
• Photo library access, only when you choose to attach an existing photo

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Data Storage and Security

Your Vehicle Data Stays on Your Device

Autoteca has no user accounts and no sign-in. Everything you enter in the App stays on your device: vehicles, mileage, service and maintenance records, fuel and expense entries, reminders, notes and any photos or documents you attach. We do not upload this content to our servers and we cannot read it.

If you have iCloud backup enabled on your device, your App data may be included in your personal iCloud backup. That backup is controlled by Apple under your Apple Account and is covered by Apple's privacy policy, not by this one.

Camera and Photo Access

The App asks for camera or photo library permission only at the moment you choose to attach an image, for example a photo of your car, a licence plate, an odometer reading, an invoice or an insurance document. Permission is requested by iOS and you can decline or revoke it at any time in Settings.

Images you attach are stored locally with the vehicle record they belong to. They are not sent to us, not used for advertising, and not shared with third parties. Deleting the record or the App removes them from the App.

Deleting Your Data

Because your data lives on your device, you are in full control of it. You can delete an individual vehicle, record or photo inside the App at any time. Deleting the App removes all remaining local App data from the device.

Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt-out of analytics collection through your device settings

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
